THEATRE DIRECTOR,WRITER AND COMPOSER
Whit to say... whit to say.
I'm a dad of two brilliant boys and a husband living in Glasgow, Scotland.
I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MA(hons) in Music and Theatre Studies. I then did a Masters in directing ten years later and graduated with distinction from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
I played in a band called Blind Pew for around about a decade. We did the classic up-and-coming band thing and we signed a record deal, got screwed over and were left with nought but tattered dreams and a slightly broken van.
I'm a geek. I am extremely happy working in Photoshop and Final Cut Pro and Logic and doing websites like this one here.
I have been lucky to receive the John Mather Rising Star Award, The Playwrights Studio New Playwrights Award and to have been nominated for three Musical Theatre Matters awards.
I spend most of my time writing, composing and directing shows. I also teach and direct at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for the Acting and Musical Theatre courses.
I have a blog, that I try to keep up to date, but don't always succeed. It details my various theatrical adventures. You can read it here if you so desire, but don't feel any pressure. It's fine. Really. It's totally fine.
If you want to get in touch with me, for honourable reasons, then just click here and email away.
